About Time

Hello, I’m Sue the founder of TIME. I have more than 20 years’ experience of working with children and families and a wealth of knowledge gained from both training and lived experience.  After many years of work and study I realised it was ‘About TIME’ I used this experience and knowledge to support others, resulting in TIME being established.

Gaining a BA hons degree in Counselling, Coaching and Mentoring and a MA in Understanding Domestic and Sexual Abuse where the thesis focused on child and parent violence and abuse (CPVA), alongside lived experience and many years of supporting children and families has led to an ambition and passion to help others overcome some of the many challenges they face and/or to assess how past experiences may be affecting current situations.

TIME has an ambition and passion to help others to understand the differences between healthy and unhealthy relationships as this can benefit people both personally and professionally.

Operating with knowledge of a vast range of therapeutic mentoring techniques and from real, lived experience. We at TIME have a keen interest in how mentoring can be used therapeutically to benefit adults, children, individuals and groups. As well as to assist organisations in understanding how to implement staff or volunteer mentoring schemes, where potential mentors receive effective training to benefit the staff and organisational morale.
